Data Compliance Statement

Last Updated: September 3, 2026

Nstdata provides web data infrastructure for legitimate, lawful, and responsible business use. This statement summarizes, at a high level, how we approach compliance, privacy, security, and responsible use across the Nstdata platform.

Nstdata was formerly known as Nstproxy. The operating legal entity remains NST LABS TECH LTD, a company incorporated in Hong Kong.

Our role: infrastructure for web data

Nstdata provides the access, crawling, routing, and traffic-control layers that customers use to collect and process web data. Our technology includes intelligent request routing and load balancing across our network, as well as tools for crawling, monitoring, and managing proxy traffic.

Customers choose the websites, APIs, systems, or other targets they access, the purposes for which they collect data, the technical configuration of their requests, and the downstream use of any data or outputs generated through the Services.

Nstdata does not grant customers any right to access third-party websites, accounts, databases, services, content, or personal data. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with applicable laws, third-party terms, contractual obligations, and the rights of others.

Public data focus

Nstdata's Crawl product is designed to help customers collect and transform publicly available web data. The Services are not intended for accessing non-public, login-gated, paywalled, confidential, or otherwise restricted data unless the customer has authorization and a lawful basis.

Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits unauthorized access, collection of non-public information without authorization, unlawful collection of personal data, infringement of third-party rights, abusive automation, spam, fraud, malware, denial-of-service activity, and other unlawful or harmful uses.

Privacy and data protection

Customers are responsible for determining whether personal data is involved in their use of the Services and for establishing all required notices, consents, lawful bases, data processing terms, and safeguards.

Where Nstdata processes personal data on behalf of a customer as a processor or service provider, that processing is governed by the applicable Data Processing Agreement, if one applies. Where Nstdata processes personal data for account administration, billing, website operation, support, security, compliance, or our own business purposes, that processing is described in our Privacy Policy.

Nstdata's privacy practices are designed to align with applicable privacy requirements, including GDPR and CCPA principles where they apply.

Customer screening and enforcement

We may apply know-your-customer (KYC), payment, sanctions, fraud, abuse, and compliance screening before or during use of the Services. We may verify identity, business information, payment information, and intended use where appropriate.

We may decline, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where use appears unlawful, abusive, high-risk, non-compliant, harmful to third parties, harmful to the Services, or inconsistent with our Terms of Use or Acceptable Use Policy.

We investigate credible abuse reports and may take enforcement action, including blocking or throttling traffic, disabling API keys or configurations, restricting targets, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant records, and cooperating with law enforcement, regulators, infrastructure providers, rights holders, or affected third parties where legally required or reasonably necessary.

Security and standards

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the Services and personal data, including access controls, monitoring, logging, abuse detection, vendor controls, and internal security procedures.

Our security and data-protection program is informed by recognized frameworks and regulatory principles, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA. We will publish formal certifications, audit reports, or attestations when they are available and approved for disclosure.

Responsible use

All customers must use the Services in accordance with our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, applicable order forms, and applicable laws. A proxy, crawler, router, SDK, dashboard, or technical capability does not make otherwise prohibited activity acceptable.

If you are unsure whether your use case is permitted, contact us before using the Services.
